Gerard has composed music for Barry Manilow, Shirley Bassey, James Last, Johnny Mathis (plus several others) as well as, of course, Dennis Waterman.
Gerard talks about the process behind the creation of the song, which became the theme.
He also reveals intimate knowledge of both Dennis and George Cole from behind the scenes.
